  Salvia cutting in tube #16359
Salvia cutting in tube
Salvia divinorum (ska maria pastora) was discovered by the Mazatec indians. The shamans of the Mazatec tribe used this holy medicine to induce a trance. In this trance they could travel through the unconsciousness of the patient to find the source of a disease.

It’s very difficult (almost impossible) to grow this magical plant from seeds, so if you want to cultivate your own Salvia plant you have to start with a cutting.
The cuttings we offer are shipped in strong, plastic tubes. The roots of the cutting are placed in agar media within the tube. This agar media contains all the needed nutrients.
Usage
This Salvia cutting needs a larger growing habitat than the tube it is delivered in. So after receiving this cutting you have to replant it directly. For this you need a jar, a glass and some mould.

- Take the cutting from the tube and remove the agar (gel) completely from the roots with somewhat warm water.
- Remove also the lower leaves.
- Put the cutting with the roots into the mould, and water lightly.
- Put the glass on the jar to increase the hydrating level and put this all in a room with daylight, but not directly in the sun.

After one to two weeks the new growth will be visible. After approximately three weeks the glass can be removed; the plant will be fully rooted by then and is ready to grow up in normal living room-circumstances.

Consult the disclaimer before your order.

The cutting was shipped well packed and in good condition. The plant is well-rooted and in very good health. In the first 3-4 weaks humidity is the most important. Don`t expose it to very intensive sunlight!

I ordered 4 plants and all of them grew big and strong. Be sure to have a high humidity. Use a plastic filterbag or use a aquarium. The best thing is a small greenhouse with a heather in it. keep it ou of the sun. If you like salvia you have to get one of these plants yourself.

Author: Savianista
Recived 6 of them in good condition. I use a small greenhouse but without a heather. They are fine in a high humidity environment. No sunlight! Thank you for the suburb quality. Till next time!
